Being a woman in 2023 in the West is a great privilege. I say this objectively even if I see clearly that there are women who live in gender discrimination, in their families and at work. Or worse, they suffer psychological or physical violence or have given up on their dreams and projects, putting their family and children first.
For the woman I have become today, I have to thank my mother who taught me the dignity that a woman should have but above all never let go of an outrageous attitude towards yourself or another woman. He taught me to fight for my ideals and justice. I thank every incredible woman I've been lucky enough to meet on my way. The women who taught me the most were those who lived in suffering, who rebelled and took control of their lives.
Honor yourself and all the women you know, with a gift to take care of your body, mind and spirit!
Today I want to give you a thought written by a woman, whom I deeply love and respect.
She has dedicated her life to others, without ever losing her essence as a strong, proud, wise and kind woman, even if she is firm in her convictions and ideas.
Always keep in mind that skin wrinkles, hair turns white, days turn into years...
But what is important is not to change; your strength and conviction are ageless.
Your spirit is the glue to any spider's web.
Behind every finishing line is a starting line.
Behind every success is another disappointment.
As long as you are alive, feel alive. If you miss what you were doing, go do it.
Don't live on yellowed photos. Keep going even if everyone expects you to quit.
Don't let the iron in you rust.
Make them show you respect instead of compassion.
When because of the years you won't be able to run, walk fast.
When you can not walk fast, walk.
When you can't walk, use a cane.
But never hold back!
