Buona Pasqua. Spoiler: l’agnello non vuole partecipare.

Happy Easter. Spoiler: the lamb doesn't want to participate.

Do you want to be part of an Easter that is good for everyone?

There is an image that repeats every Easter: lavish tables, smiles, family... and, too often, a lamb on the plate.
But let's pause for a moment.
Lambs are babies: sweet, innocent, with those curious big eyes and a bleat that seems to say "let's play?"
So we ask ourselves... is it really necessary for our celebration to coincide with the end of their story?
We don't think so.
And no, you don't have to become vegetarian or vegan overnight.
Sometimes, a different choice, an extra recipe, or one less tradition is enough.

When we organized two screenings of Food for Profit in Sorano, our small town in Maremma Tuscany, I admit: I was a little nervous.
Talking about intensive farming isn't exactly a casual chat, and the line between "I'm sharing useful information" and "I'm becoming the long-winded cousin at Christmas dinners" is thin. Very thin. 😅
But there was (and is) something that helped me get through that moment on stage: the value of conscious information, which is the purpose of my existence.
Because when we stop pointing fingers and start telling things as they are, with respect and clarity, something beautiful happens: people listen.
And maybe they change something.
That's also why I've taken Giulia Innocenzi's project to heart: because you don't have to shout to be heard. Sometimes, it's enough to shine a light on what often remains in the dark.

All this rambling to tell you, what if this Easter were truly a symbol of rebirth?

Rebirth of a kinder, more conscious thought.
A celebration where we can celebrate life... without taking it away.

And since I always like to provide solutions to 'problems', here are some alternative ideas that will bring a breath of fresh air to your table.
