The bulbs are planted from the end of July to mid-September to collect the pistils from the end of October of the same year.
We sell only hand-selected organic bulbs, medium-large size, caliber 11, for which we guarantee flowering.
The bulbs can be ordered for delivery from mid-July to the end of August (depending on the season) to be planted from early July to mid-September.
The bulbs can be planted next to each other if you want to thin them every year, or every 20 cm if you want to thin them every 3 years.
From planting to harvesting, if it does not rain, emergency irrigation is recommended, at least once a month.
Flowering occurs in October/November and each bulb can produce up to 5 flowers. To make 1 gram of dried saffron, 150 flowers are needed. A bulb can flower up to a maximum of 5 times.
Shipping to Italy is FREE for a minimum of 100 bulbs
The cost includes: a university handbook divided by regions of Italy, a self-written manual that tells our experience, both in pdf format. The manuals will be sent after the purchase of the bulbs. Once you have read the manuals, we are available by phone for any doubts.
To have an invoice for organic bulbs, it is necessary, at the same time as the order, that the certificate of conformity of the requesting agricultural company is sent to us.
Without these requirements, a receipt or invoice for conventional bulbs will be issued.

Sono al terzo impianto e quest'anno ho comprato qui 500 bulbi.
Sono in piena raccolta, oltre 1300 profumatissimi fiori, ma soprattutto vedo tante tante spate spuntare da un singolo bulbo (anche 5 o 6 per bulbo) , segnale che oltre alla buona fioritura il bulbo si sta riproducendo in maniera importante. Al momento posso ritenermi pienamente soddisfatto, e consigliare questi bulbi a chi sta valutandone l'acquisto.

Salve, mi sembrano un buon prodotto, ho preparato un risotto ed e’ piaciuto molto, non conoscevo i pistilli di zafferano avendo sempre acquistato le bustine di zagfferanoal supermercato. Ma i pistilli hanno dato quel tocco di colore e sapore in piu’. Grazie Sant’ Egle.

Pistilli di zafferano che fanno "capire" il vero gusto dello zafferano, non come le polveri allungate con la curcuma che si trovano nei supermercati. Lo riprenderò!
