Helichrysum oil is an oil infusion , obtained by macerating the flowering tops of Helichrysum italicum (curry plant or immortelle) in a vegetable oil, used in phytocosmetics in topical treatment.

Helichrysum boasts important properties for skin health :

Natural antihistamine : one of the peculiarities of helichrysum is that it is an excellent natural antihistamine to appease allergy symptoms in cases of dermatitis, skin rashes or any other irritation affecting the skin. Helichrysum certainly does not have the power of cortisone, but it is a perfect natural remedy to soothe the symptoms of any type of allergy, or intolerance, whether it is an allergy to nickel, pollen, grasses, food, dust, or animal hair.
Anti-inflammatory : helichrysum performs a good anti-inflammatory action on irritated skin, especially in the case of dermatitis, eczema, herpes of all kinds, contact dermatitis, hives, skin rashes and especially on skin affected by psoriasis.
Natural tanner : helichrysum oil can be used instead of common tanning oils as a natural tanner. Provides low protection (approximately 20-25) and promotes tanning while avoiding the formation of irritation or rashes. Obviously it does not protect from the sun's rays when you are exposed at peak hours. In case of stove burns, or sunburn, it can also be used as an emergency remedy to soothe the pain, but it must be said that for these eventualities, St John's Wort oil is much more effective, which is also an excellent after-sun.
Cold hands and feet, or chilblains : helichrysum oil is also very useful in winter in case of cold hands and feet, or chilblains, as it has the ability to reactivate the blood microcirculation.
COMPOSITION: organic helichrysum seed oil and flowers

Apply the oil on the affected area, until completely absorbed.

To facilitate absorption it is recommended to apply the oil infusion on damp skin.

Utilizzo molto l'olio di iperico per disinfiammare e questo lo trovo un ottimo prodotto. Arrivato per tempo e ben imballato in una confezione con un occhio di riguardo al riciclo e all'ambiente.
