The bulbs should be planted from late July to mid-September in order to harvest the stigmas starting in late October of the same year.

We only sell hand-selected organic bulbs of medium-large size, caliber 10/11 (10-11 cm diameter), for which we guarantee flowering.

The bulbs can be reserved for delivery from mid-July 2027 to late August 2027 (depending on the season) to be planted between early July and mid-September.

The bulbs can be planted side-by-side if you wish to thin them out every year, or 20 cm apart if you prefer to thin them out every 3 years.

From planting until harvest, if there is no rain, we recommend emergency irrigation at least once a month.

Flowering occurs in October/November and each bulb can produce up to 5 flowers.
It takes 150 flowers to make 1 gram of dried saffron. A bulb can flower up to a maximum of 5 times.

To receive an invoice for organic bulbs, the minimum order is 500 bulbs, and it is necessary to send us the certificate of conformity of the requesting farm at the time of order. Without these requirements, a standard fiscal receipt will be issued.
