Sarah Lynn Wheeldon

Ciao! Sono Sarah. Daughter of British immigrant parents in Canada. I was born in a big city named Calgary (yes the one where Alberto Tomba won the Olympic gold medals in 1988).

I grew up in a land of mountains, cowboys and SNOW. 

I have been living in Tuscany since 2022 and for me, it is a dream come true. Of course I miss my family and friends, but after years of searching I finally found a place that feels truly like home. A place where I can live a simpler, more honest life, grow lemons and feel the sun. 

For 30 years, my previous career as an actor, yoga teacher and musician allowed me to travel and see many places in this world. These places, especially Africa, taught me that material things and money are not the values that we should focus on. Saving our planet for all creatures and living in harmony is what really matters. So I decided to quit my career and move to an area where I could live next to nature and do things every day to show Earth the respect and love that she needs. 

This road has not been easy, but along the way I have met like-minded people who not only preach values that are "eco" or "bio" but actually live them in everything they do. These people are Erika and Alessandro.  They see in me the potential to overcome the language and cultural differences to connect with all of you in the way that my heart wants. They have shown me kindness, acceptance and patience and I am honoured to work for them and for a project like Sant'Egle. Not to mention being able to use the amazing, high quality bio products that we produce and to say hi to the chickens at the farm every day ;-)  If you come to Sant'Egle, you will find me in the kitchen making cakes or scrambled eggs and you can always write to me on Whatsapp. I'll be the one answering your inquiries with improper grammar or a strange "way to say".  A big hug, Sarah
